Esha Girls Care was registered as a Community Based Organization in February 2018. Esha Girls Care believes that every girl should be equipped with transformative thinking skills, creativity, innovation and professional skills for her to achieve her goals in life.

Esha Girls Care, CBO was founded with the aim of protecting and safeguarding the rights of girls holistically. The aim is to address the girl-child rights from childhood to adolescence. The CBO aim is to address issues that affect girls especially the stereo type perception and stigma that surround natural processes such as menstrual period. The CBO focuses on girls from poor background and mostly those living in informal settlements.

Our mission is to address the rights of girl-child from childhood through adolescence, focusing on issues that particularly affect girls such as stereotypes and stigma on natural processes like menstruation. We are dedicated to supporting girls from poor backgrounds especially those born and living in informal settlements.

We do realize that menstrual equity allows girls to maintain positive self-expression and esteem by giving them a voice to engage in society without period stigma drawing them back. By prioritizing menstrual health and education from young age girls will reach their full potential.
